The Music Icon Embraces a Dark Alter Ego of Her Own Identity in Satirical Film Preview
The celebrated musician is getting ready for a major cinematic presence in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
In the film, Charli portrays what she refers to as a dark version of her own persona.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the entertainment world that I’ve ever encountered, the performer remarked.
She clarified in an interview: It’s far from a live performance documentary, but the idea originated from the expectation to create one.
A Sneak Peek into The Film
The first teaser, released on Thursday, mixes authentic footage from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized off-stage interactions.
The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by Aidan Zamiri, who shared that the story centers on a world where Charli took completely different paths during the marketing of her smash hit album Brat.

The film is only one of several forthcoming movie projects for the star, who has starred in three cinematic festival entries in the current year.

She also signed on to feature in the actress’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

The Moment is scheduled to debut on the 30th of January.
